Restaurant .com Coupon
Has anyone ever bought and used coupons from Restaurant.com?
I wanted to purchase some coupons from http://www.restaurant.com, but am wondering if I will have any trouble using them at restaurants since they are printed from home?
I posted a similar question here and what I read was reassuring enough that I took the plunge. Friends were taking us to dinner, so they used the certificate. I think they were a little leery, too, because they gave the certificate to the server before she even brought the bill. She didn’t bat an eye, just said, “Is that one of the Internet coupons? We’ve been getting a lot of them.” There was no problem and we’ve been back since and used another certificate, again without difficulty.
Restaurant.com has promotions periodically. Sign up for the mailing list to be notified or watch a freebies/deals site, since people regularly post the codes. The certificates are cheap to begin with and a code can get you up to 70% off that. Then you’re only risking a few dollars on a $25.00 certificate. If the restaurant refuses it, you’re only out $2 or $3. If they take it, you’re $20 plus ahead.
Bon appetit!
