Out of the ordinary birthday present ideas?

I’ve bought part of my boyfriend’s birthday gift, but I want to make him something as well. I thought about making coupons, but I know that’s a pretty common homemade gift.. Any suggestions?

Something to think about for the future if it’s too late now: a scrapbook filled with funny quotes or quotable comments either from him or friends.
For now I think your boyfriend would LOVE the coupons especially if you offer massages and other nice favors.
