will american eagle outfitters take this back?

i bought a winter coat there in late november or early december, when it was fairly new…for about $100. (with a coupon)
today i discoverd a 3 inch long 2 inch wide hole in the inside of the coat. the goose down is not coming out, but stil….
i’m not sure if i have the receipt still.
will americaneagle take it backif i have the reciept?
if i dont have the reciept?
will they give me a new one or a store credit or something?

if it looks worn, they will most certainly not take it back. even if they do take it back, you won’t get back what you paid for it, unless you have the receipt. if there is no receipt, then they will give you a store credit for the current rack price of the coat. if you have already worn the coat then don’t even think about taking it back. that ship has sailed sister. once you take the tags off and wear it, its yours forever.
