Can’t get to my yahoo email account?

Everytime I try to open my yahoo email account, it “redirects” me to a combination Dell/Google page that says it can’t find http://ad.coupons.com/pixel%3Fid. Does anyone know what this is? It happened a while ago for a short time. I called Dell and the guy said the files were probably corrupted. There was another problem that I was having and they fixed that. Then, this no longer happened. Now, it’s happening again but with this being the only problem. I don’t have the money to pay them again. The first “fix” was about 4-6 months ago.

I found their address at the top of the list on this site:

http://onsamehost.com/76.13.220.11/

The url name indicates a cookie which was somehow installed on your harddrive by whomever. I then did further research and found this helpful site: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=32829

About halfways down the site a user posts that quote < The solution (provided by Jill C) is to uninstall Google AFE (older versions) via Add Remove.
Newer versions of the pre-installed Google/Dell add-ons = uninstall - Browser Address Error Redirector

Eric Osborne sends along this tip: If the above Google programs are not listed in Add Remove ...
Go to - Internet Options | Programs | Manage Add-ons | disable CBrowserHelperObject

Interestingly, the first two proposed solutions didn't work for me, as nothing was listed in Add/Remove. However, the third solution, by Eric Osborne, WORKED!!!!>> unquote.

Try the solution provided above and if that doesn’t take care of your problem, get the freeware tool “hijackthis”, it quickly scans your computer to find settings that may have been changed by spyware, malware or other unwanted programs. HijackThis creates a report, or log file, with the results of the scan. Check the “overview, FAQ and quick start guide” buttons in the top bar to find out how this tool works.

Then google for “hijackthis forum”, click on one of the many links and follow the prompts. Those forums have volunteers who help you to analyze your hijackthis log and get rid of the malware on your computer. Below are a couple of links to such forums:
