A great easter question!?

I have a great idea (I think) for those of us struggling to make ends meet right now for easter.
Instead of getting the traditional baskets, I am purchasing about 7 or 8 things that my kids can find in a scavenger hunt. These will be small and inexpensive. I will also fill a couple plastic eggs with coupons for things like ’30 mins of tennis with mom on the Wii’ or ‘one no chore day’. I think it will be more fun than finding a basket full of junk stuff that will just break. What do you think?
We will also have a traditional easter egg hunt as well…

This sounds cool to me. I’m glad I saw your question because you are so right-times are really hard right now and so many of us are struggling to make ends meet. I know my kids would love to not have any chores for a day but they usually don’t do their chores in the first place. lol Anyway, you could also put like a dollar in one of the eggs too. We did that last year for Easter instead of all the traditional things that left us more broke than before. We also bought both of our kids a small package of candy from Wal-Mart so they would have the candy. It all came out alot cheaper than ever before. Thanks for the good ideas.
