What to get for my moms birthday?

i meed to get something for my mom. shes like 45 but still so young at heart. she loves really quirky things but i dont know what to get her. i dont want to get her giftcardds or “coupons” for housework and what not. i also dont really want to make anything like a picture frame or a card or a cake etc. i also dont want to write her a note just saying how much i love her. i want something unique and cute! Help?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

One of the inexpensive (but thoughtful) ways I give gifts at Christmas to my family is to write a funny saying or description of the family member on an extra-large white t-shirt or long-sleeve t-shirt with fabric paint. It’s artsy enough (if you make your letters in good-sized legible print), it’s wearable, and they hold up to regular cold/warm water washing for a few years at least.

If your mother likes a particular band or singer, you might get a few CD’s of that band or singer, purchase a low-cost MP3 player, and copy all of the songs onto the MP3 player. It should hold at least a few CD’s worth of songs.

Maybe your mom would like to start collecting? If she is fond of any stones (jewel, semi-precious, or just regular), you might try finding bracelets or earrings with those stones, or something else practical.

Fun ideas include getting photos of YOU and having a calendar made (try Walgreens or Wolf Camera for these, I think) or having your picture on a coffee mug.

For other ideas, you can check your local library. A lot of ideas (however dated) are easy to find without costing you a penny!
