How do you find the “coupon rate,” given YTM=12%, 40 yr semi-annual bond issued 12 yrs ago, PV=$1186.99?
the coupon rate is i so with your finacial calc fill in all your variables and work it. it could also want you to start form 12 years ago and make your pv your fv and then see what happens.
